I absolutely loved Kris Michaels latest Guardian book, Jasmine. In all the previous Guardian books, we got to see the Guardian guys in action and I was so glad to see one of the Guardian gals kick some butt. Jasmine is a personal security specialist under her brother Jared. She gets assigned bodyguard duty to Chad, a country superstar who has a stalker and is being investigated by the F.B.I. for several murders. From their first meeting you can see the sparks fly and you know their journey will be a wild one. From shootouts on the highway to a dinner interrogation with Jared, Joseph and Jason you will not want to put down the book until you reach the end. Even when you reach the end, you want more because they are that kind of couple. Kris will keep you guessing on the bad guy, leaving you swooning for Chad, and leaving you laughing with the antics of the King's and the Wonder Twins. Another awesome Guardian book and I am EAGERLY waiting for Chief's book. I received an authors copy and chose to leave an honest review.Product details

I have been waiting for the next story in the Kings of Guardian series for what seems like forever because they are such great stories to be told. Having read about the King Brothers, I could not wait to hear about the sisters of the family. And Kris Michaels did not disappoint with Jasmine.
Be warned, there are graphic sex scenes. But seriously, we are on book 6 of the series. I think we all know the King family are some pretty lusty folks by now.
I was waiting to see how Jasmine and Chad were going to connect when they seemed like such very different people with very different lifestyles. It was hard waiting to see how they could connect. I enjoyed reading about Chad taking back control of his life and business from the people around him, the writing style made it easy to picture, and the decisions Jasmine has to make are put forth very realistically. One of them needs to fight for control, one needs to lose it.
I enjoy reading Kris Michaels books because the scenes flow so easily. It is not hard to picture the characters in action. And the humor can make me laugh out loud so I have to be careful when I am reading in public or I can embarrass myself easily.
I am at the point where I can’t wait to turn the page, but I don’t want to turn page because that means the ending is that much closer and I will be back to waiting once again to visit with the King family
Five stars are never enough for a Kris Michaels' book. Jasmine is the first book centered on a female member of Guardian and the author did a absolutely fantastic job of finding Jasmine's other half. Jasmine is the more reserved twin that has tried to protect her heart after an incident in her past. Chad is a country singing superstar with a heart. The story has plenty of action that keeps you turning pages (both with guns and between the sheets). I love that the author always has several characters from previous books have appearances in the current book. I know the next book is Chief's story but dang those Wonder Twins are getting hotter and hotter (and thankfully they have a fairly large part in this story). Love the shout out to Lucifer Cross and can't wait for his story (from A Heart's Desire - totally awesome book - also by Kris Michaels). With our Guardian peeps being targeted by the Russians, it will be nice seeing Adam and Ember having another set of hands helping out with doctoring duties, as Malaki Blue may be heading to the South Dakota complex (yet another hot Guardian that will need his own story). I cannot recommend strongly enough for anyone to read these books (or any by Kris Michaels). Even if you are not into hot sex scenes (they are easily skipped over), these stories are so well crafted and engrossing that anyone can enjoy them.
I eagerly anticipated Jasmine and I was definitely not disappointed. Jasmine starts out strong and ends strong. No repetitive situations or words or weakening story as the book progresses. Every scene is integral to the development of the story. Jasmine is a strong woman, but not so strong that she cannot ask for or accept help when needed. No one is perfect in this book, only complex, well developed characters with several secondary characters begging for their own books.
I loved how both Jasmine and Chad keep their own identities while taking care of each other. Assigned as his personal security, Jasmine is to keep Chad, a superstar, safe. I was, at first, concerned that Chad was going to be a wimp, but no worries. He definitely holds his own, even while interacting with the rest of the Kings. Their relationship develops over time while they face challenges and threats to both their lives. This is another great book in the series! All the Kings either show up or are mentioned, the wonder twins and Adam are also present and accounted for. Cannot wait for the next in the series and hope it never ends
